Worcestershire Rapids kick off their 50-over campaign on Tuesday, 5th August, with a warm-up clash against Herefordshire Men, at the picturesque Eastnor Cricket Club (HR8 1RR).
With a BBQ, bar and refreshments this is the perfect family day out for cricket lovers and casual fans alike.
The match will also serve as an excellent warm-up opportunity for the Rapids ahead of their group stage fixtures, which commences with a trip to play Nottinghamshire Outlaws on Thursday, 7th August.
With plenty of local pride on the line, expect a competitive and entertaining contest from ball one.
Speaking ahead of the competition, Head Coach Alan Richardson shared his excitement for the start of the 50-over campaign.
“The Metro Bank One Day Cup is always a fantastic competition, and we’re really looking forward to getting going.
“It’s a brilliant opportunity for our squad to show what they can do in white-ball cricket, and we’re excited to start this year in what should be a cracking day at Eastnor.
“There’s something really special about bringing county cricket to out grounds, it creates such a great atmosphere. We’re hoping to see lots of supporters out there enjoying a great day of cricket.”

Gates will open at 10:00, with the toss scheduled for 10:30 and the first ball at 11:00.
Entry is just £5 for adults and £1 for juniors, payable on the gate.
Spectators are encouraged to bring their own seating to ensure the most comfortable and enjoyable viewing experience.
