NEW YEAR DATE IN UAE FOR ADAM HOSE IN ILT20

Worcestershire batter, Adam Hose, is set to be heading to the UAE in the New Year to compete in the International League T20 for the first time.

Hose has been named in the Desert Vipers 18-strong squad for the six-team tournament which gets underway in January.

He will be hoping to help the Vipers go one better as they were beaten in last winter’s inaugural final by Gulf Giants.

Former Worcestershire player and Director of Cricket, Tom Moody, is the Vipers cricket director and ex Rapids T20 Vitality Blast player, Colin Munro, will skipper the side.

Hose will link up with the Vipers after playing for Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League for the second year running if he has successfully recovered from a broken wrist.

Alex Hales, Luke Wood, Gus Atkinson and Tom Curran are amongst Hose’s team-mates in the ILT20.

The competition is scheduled to get underway on January 19 with the final on February 18 and the other teams competing are Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, Dubai Capitals, MI Emirates, Sharjah Warriors and Gulf Giants.
