Worcestershire batter Adam Hose is one of the four nominees for the Professional Cricketers Association Player of the Month award following a fruitful few weeks where he scored at an average of more than 60.
The Vitality Blast dominated the county game in June with each side playing six or seven games. The month also saw the return of the County Championship with the completion of round nine and the first two days of round 10.
Hose was in great form for Worcestershire with the bat. The 32-year-old scored 568 runs across the County Championship and the Vitality Blast to pick up 145.85 Most Valuable Player points in the PCA.
The right-handed batter earned one Match MVP last month. His best performance, however, came towards the end of June, against Hampshire, when he scored a record-shattering 266 off 253 balls to register the most MVP points in the game.
The top four men’s domestic players have been announced using the PCA’s Most Valuable Player Rankings, as Hose comes up against:
- Dom Sibley (Surrey)
- David Willey (Northants)
- Will Jacks (Surrey)
The PCA Player of the Month will be decided by a 50:50 split between the PCA MVP Rankings and the public vote on thepca.co.uk – with the poll closing on 2 July at 10pm. With a short window to have your say, vote now to pick your winner of the May awards.
