
Worcestershire County Cricket Club are pleased to announce the signing of left-arm spinner Callum Parkinson from Durham on a two-week loan deal covering the Rothesay County Championship.
The 28-year-old joins the squad with immediate effect bringing a wealth of county experience, having previously represented Leicestershire before making the move to Durham ahead of the 2024 season.
Picking up 11 wickets so far in the Vitality Blast T20 North Group, the spinner who has also appeared in The Hundred, has been bowling at an average of 15.63 in the short format.
With a proven track record in both red and white-ball cricket, Parkinson adds valuable depth and variety to Worcestershire’s spin attack.
The temporary signing comes as Fateh Singh has been ruled out of the Hampshire fixture with a knee injury. the Club looks to manage player workloads during a busy phase of the domestic campaign.
