Joe Clarke ended Worcestershire Rapids NatWest T20 Blast campaign perched in the top 10 of six hitters in the competition for 2017.
The 21-year-old cleared the ropes on 19 occasions for the Rapids after being promoted to the top of the order.
He also had the highest strike rate of any player in the country in the T20 Blast who scored 12 or more sixes – 183.17 – as he totalled 381 runs at an average of 31.75.
It means the England Lions batsman is placed in joint 10th spot with Sussex’s Chris Nash.
Clarke’s Rapids team-mate, Ross Whiteley, is not far behind him in joint 12th spot with 18 sixes.
He produced one of, if not the highlight of the summer with six sixes in an over against Yorkshire spinner Karl Carver – the first Englishman to achieve that feat in any form of senior cricket.
Colin Ingram’s five sixes for Glamorgan in last night’s quarter-final win over Leicestershire means he has gone clear as the top six-hitter with 31.
He had previously been level on 26 with Essex’s Varun Chopra, Yorkshire’s David Willey and Nottinghamshire’s Riki Wessels.
The leading T20 Blast six-hitters are:
1 – 31 – CA Ingram (Glamorgan) – Matches 13, sixes 31
