Moeen Ali, Pat Brown and Ross Whiteley will be heading to Abu Dhabi next month to play in the third edition of the T10 League.
The Worcestershire trio will be representing Team Abu Dhabi and Karnataka Tuskers respectively in the 10-day tournament.
England all-rounder Moeen has been chosen as the ‘Icon Player’ by Team Abu Dhabi.
Paceman Brown and all-rounder Whiteley were both selected for the Tuskers via today’s live draft for the competition.
It will be Whiteley’s second taste of the T10 as he played two years ago for Maratha Arabians in the initial tournament held in Sharjah.
The entire T10 League will take place in the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium from November 15 to 24.
Teams will participate in a round robin competition, initially of two groups of four, and then a ‘super league’ which will be followed by a qualifier and an eliminator before the final.
Brown and Whiteley’s side, whose ‘Icon Player’ is South African star batsman Hashim Amla, will do battle in Group ‘A’ with Bangla Tigers, Deccan Gladiators and Delhi Bulls.
Moeen’s team will face Maratha Arabians, Northern Warriors and Qalandars in Group ‘B’.
Brown’s inclusion in the T10 will follow on from his first England call-up for the five game T20 Series against New Zealand next month.
He has also been signed up already by Birmingham Phoenix – along with Moeen – for next summer’s inaugural The Hundred competition.
