Worcestershire shared a draw with Nottinghamshire after rain washed out the final day of the Vitality County Championship at Visit Worcestershire New Road.
Hopes of picking up some last day bowling bonus points were dashed after heavy overnight rain and a stream of heavy showers.
Umpires Nigel Llong and Suri Shanmugam made a series of hourly inspections between 10.30am and 2.30pm.
But a heavy early afternoon downpour ended hopes of any play being possible.
Worcestershire had to be content with a haul of nine points – eight for a share of the spoils and one batting point.
They have reached the half-way stage of the red ball competition with five draws from seven matches.
Although this was not one of their better performances, Worcestershire have overall competed strongly on their return to the top flight.
Head Coach Alan Richardson said: “This season we’ve put in some good performances and probably not got our rewards.
“But this game is one we would like to forget about. We are creating chances but we’d like to clean our catching.”
“It was something we discussed last year in Division Two when our record wasn’t as good as we would like.
“If you look at Calvin Harrison and the two catches he took in the slips, they can become real game changers.”
