JACK HOME EARNS FIRST YOUNG LIONS CALL-UP FOR TRAINING CAMP

Worcestershire’s promising pace bowler Jack Home has earned his first England Young Lions (Under-19s) call-up as part of a three week training camp in South Africa
The 18-year-old will be part of an 18 strong party training in Stellenbosch from November 25 to December 16.
The camp is in preparation for three Youth ODIs and two Youth Tests in South Africa during January and early February.
Shrewsbury born Home, part of the Worcestershire Academy for four years, made a big impact for the Rapids in the Metro Bank One Day Cup.
He picked up 16 wickets in five appearances including 6-51 in the away win over Derbyshire, the best List A figures by a Worcestershire bowler for 19 years.
Home also appeared in one Vitality Blast and two Vitality County Championship matches and in September signed a three year contract with Worcestershire.
He also has potential as a batter and scored 29 in helping Tom Taylor put on 65 for the ninth wicket against Warwickshire in the Championship match at Visit Worcestershire New Road.
