The 20th instalment of T20 cricket has arrived and we are looking to help make even more brilliant Blast memories this summer for the whole family!
Friday 3rd June here at New Road we launch with a BANK HOLIDAY BONANZA of cricket, starting with the massively anticipated derby fixture against Birmingham Bears. This game has now sold out again.
Gates swing open at 12noon, ahead of a 2.30pm start, there’s plenty of time to enjoy our food village and match day entertainment before the cricket gets underway. Then post-match, popular band Under the Covers will keep you on your feet and dancing the night away, long after the final ball has been bowled.
Sunday 5 June join us for a day of more fun on as we celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee, during our fixture against Leicestershire Foxes.
🎪 A day of entertainment for the entire family with our circus skills workshops, brass band and cheerleaders as we celebrate the jubilee in style alongside the usual electric atmosphere of T20 cricket at New Road.
✍️ Then post-match youngsters will be able to meet their Rapids heroes in an autograph session, while Worcestershire Cricket will be on hand to help hone their cricket skills on the field with a series of mini-games and drills. Family tickets available from just £20.
Are you looking to enjoy the day VIP Style? The Chestnut Marquee will be undergoing a street party style makeover, and guests can enjoy the day to the max with our Pimms Package.
The specially introduced hospitality ticket includes a welcome drink, pre-game panel Q&A and a jubilee street party menu 
alongside the usual buzzing atmosphere of the Vitality Blast fixture. This is an amazing day and offers something for everyone.
The following Friday, 10 June will see the Rapids host Derbyshire Falcons, but only after a first of it’s kind double header fixture has taken place, featuring the England Disability side taking on the world-famous Lord’s Taverners XI.
With the first of the action getting underway at 1pm we are promising a whole afternoon and evening of crowd-pleasing cricket for everyone, alongside access to the usual Street Food Village offering an array of tasty treats.
Post-match you’ll even be entertained by a top local covers band.
