Worcestershire Women’s Rapids spin duo, Phoebe Brett and Flora Bertwistle, have played a major role in their side securing a top three spot in both ECB competitions this summer.
Brett has picked up a combined tally of 18 wickets from just seven games in the T20 Group Two and 50 Over Group Three tournaments.
Her best return was 4-17 against Leicestershire in the T20 competition but she has been a model of consistency in both formats.
She has other figures of 2-1, 3-25, 2-14, 1-37, 3-2 and 3-6.
Bertwistle has also been impressive throughout the campaign and has collected 17 scalps from her eight appearances for the Women’s Rapids.
She returned her best 2024 figures of 4-13 in the weekend win over Cambridgeshire at Geddington.
But she has also had hauls of 2-11, 2-29, 2-14, 2-12, 0-52, 3-18 and 2-16.
The Women’s Rapids are currently lying in third spot in the ECB 50 over competition with three wins and one loss from four games behind joint leaders Devon and Gloucestershire.
They are also occupying third spot in the ECB T20 tournament with three wins and one defeat from six games.
But two matches versus Warwickshire and Shropshire were abandoned without a ball being bowled.
