himley won the county t20 cup by defeating pershore by six wickets with two balls to spare at New Road this lunch-time.
an unbeaten 66 from former herefordshire captain chris burroughs saw himley over the finishing line.
burroughs struck four sixes and five fours in his 44 ball knock and added an unbroken 80 with jamie turner (16 not out).
pershore chose to bat and opener liam ridings (39) and chris ridings (15) added 62 for the second wicket.
but, after the partnership was broken at 65-2 in the eighth over, runs became harder to accumulate.
they eventually totalled 119-7 with dan durman and ollie siviter having identical figures of 2-18 from four overs and burroughs 2-25.
turner also sent down four accurate overs for 18 runs.
himley limped to 40-4 in the ninth over in reply and at that stage pershore looked firm favourites.
but that was the end of their hopes as burroughs and turner led himley to victory in 19.4 overs.
