After the loss of the first day, Hampshire had declared on their overnight 475-4 and both sides had forfeited an innings.
Dell shared in a partnership of 101 in 24 hours for the second wicket with captain Ollie Westbury.
He made 56 off 101 balls with eight fours.
Dell, who brought up his century off 174 deliveries, was then joined by Xavie Clarke and the pair added a further 115 in 40 overs before the former was third out at 250.
Clarke was fourth out for a patient 40 spanning 143 balls and 53 overs.
Nick Hammond chipped in with 32 and Zain Ul-Hassan with an unbeaten 28 before the two teams shook hands after 98.2 overs.
