Worcestershire duo, keeper Henry Cullen and batter Rehaan Edavalath, will make their first appearance of the season for Herefordshire in the Durant Cricket National Counties Championship match against Wiltshire at Corsham starting on Sunday.
Cullen and Edavalath will take advantage of the current lack of Seconds team action with Worcestershire to play in the Western Division Two fixture.
Apart from an ECB T20 match against Northamptonshire on Wednesday, Worcestershire will not return to competitive Seconds cricket until the end of August.
Worcestershire Assistant Coach, Richard Jones, who oversees the Seconds, said: With there not being much Seconds cricket at present, it is an opportunity for Henry and Rehaan to get in some good standard cricket.
“We have a good relationship with Herefordshire and, when the opportunity arises, we always encourage our players to play for them.
