Moeen Ali hit an explosive half century to help Multan Sultans to the top of the Pakistan Super League with a 52 run win over Karachi Kings.
Worcestershire Rapids Vitality Blast captain opened the batting and raced to 65 off 42 deliveries with four sixes and four fours.
Moeen added 71 for the second wicket with Sultans skipper Shan Masood (61) out of a total of 186-6 after being put into bat.
He then picked up a wicket in his first over as Karachi Kings were dismissed for 134 in 17 overs.
It was the Sultans third win from their opening four matches.
Moeen played himself in with seven runs off his first 12 deliveries at the crease before cutting loose.
He collected his first six off Iftikhar Ahmed with a straight drive and drilled Imad Wasim over the extra cover boundary.
Moeen moved into overdrive with six-four-six off successive balls from Ahmed to reach a 32-ball 50.
He survived one chance on 36 before eventually being caught behind point off Umaid Asif.
Moeen (2-0-25-1) shared the new ball and the last ball of his first over sent back Sharjeel Khan (16) lbw.
