Free Admission for Final Day of Championship Game at Chester Road

Admission will be completely free for all spectators on the final day of the Vitality County Championship match against Somerset, taking place at the Kidderminster Cricket Club’s Chester Road ground..

The concluding day of the match, scheduled for tomorrow (Monday 29 April), promises an exciting showdown with Worcestershire pushing for a victory after securing a significant first innings lead of 142 the previous day. This final day event caps off a notable stint of eight days of championship cricket hosted at Chester Road over the last week and a half.

Worcestershire’s CEO, Ashley Giles, expressed his gratitude for the community’s support, stating, “We are immensely grateful for the overwhelming support and positive feedback we’ve received at Kidderminster. 

“I would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at both Worcestershire and Kidderminster. Their hard work has been pivotal in a successful staging of these two first-class fixtures at Chester Road.”
