Worcestershire pace bowler Jack Home will come back into contention for Friday’s Metro Bank One Day Cup match against Derbyshire at the Incora County Ground as Head Coach Alan Richardson looks to rotate the young and inexperienced bowlers in the squad.
Home was rested for Sunday’s impressive 93 run win over Durham at Visit Worcestershire New Road.

The 18-year-old only made his debut in the Vitality Blast meeting with Derbyshire Falcons two weeks ago and then picked up three wickets in the One Day Cup win over Middlesex.
Richardson said: “We’ve managed to gather ourselves into a bit of a squad where we can rotate the guys around.
“For someone like Jack, the intensity of the cricket he is now playing is something he wouldn’t have experienced before.
“It will be the same with Hishaam Khan and Tommy Sturgess while Harry Darley is only just getting used to it.
“The opportunity is to try and rotate them around a little bit so we are as strong at the end of the competition as we are at the start.”
Richardson is delighted to have acquired the services of spinner Fateh Singh on loan from Nottinghamshire and he hit a List A best of 60 against Durham and picked up a vital wicket.
He said: “We knew we would like some spinners in and around and, with Dolly not being right for the tournament at the start of it. it was an opportunity to have a look around.
“Notts have got Calvin Harrison, Liam Patterson-White plus Farhan Ahmed who has come through and they really like as well.
“Fateh is part of that group and you identify players at certain clubs and you just ask the question and Notts have been very accommodating and he has come to us to play games of cricket.”
Derbyshire have won their opening three games in the tournament and Richardson is expecting another big challenge after the wins over Middlesex and Durham.
He said: “If you look at the signings they’ve made over the last 12 months, there are a lot of guys who are very highly skilled in white ball cricket, Pat Brown, Aneurin Donald, Ross Whiteley, David Lloyd etc.
“They have continued that with Martin Andersson just signed for next season. They are really focusing hard on the white ball competitions and they look really strong.
“They beat us in the one T20 game we played against them, a good, close game, so hopefully we will have another good game on Friday.”
