Kashif Ali will be aiming to continue his impressive form when Worcestershire Seconds return to Second Eleven Championship action on Monday against Nottinghamshire at Notts Sports Club
The middle order batter has put together scores of 80, 74, 108 and 82 in his last four SEC knocks.
Rehaan Edavalath is back available to play Seconds cricket after completing his school exams. He signed a professional rookie contract last week.
Worcestershire are giving a trial to seamer, Harry Darley, who has played for Shropshire Under-18s and for Oswestry in the Birmingham and District Premier League.
The squad will be supplemented by the two players in the senior squad who do not make the final selection for the LV=Insurance County Championship match with Middlesex.
Pat Brown will again skipper the Seconds who have drawn their last three Championship matches with Glamorgan, Leicestershire and Warwickshire.
Worcestershire triumphed in the corresponding fixture last season when Josh Baker registered a hat-trick.
Kevin Sharp and Andy Sutton will assume coaching responsibilities with Kadeer Ali assisting with the first team after Alan Richardson’s call-up to coach with the England Lions.
