Worcestershire Seconds went down by 75 runs to Gloucestershire in an ECB T20 encounter at Rockhampton.
Sam Keeling-Wright gave Worcestershire the ideal start after they had put the home side into bat with two early wickets.
But from 2-2, Gloucestershire recovered to 188-5 thanks to an unbeaten 63 from New Zealander Robert O’Donnell.
Keeling-Wright finished with 4-0-29-2 and the other wicket-takers were Ollie Walker (3-0-24-1), Cameron Jones (3-0-28-1) and Tom Hinley (3-0-38-1).
Worcestershire, who were captained by keeper-batter Henry Cullen, were bowled out for 113 in 16.1 overs.
Opener Ed Pollock made 23 but no-one else reached 20 until Jones struck a quickfire 36 batting at number nine.
He hit three sixes and two fours in his 22 ball knock.
