Worcestershire Women’s Rapids batter Charis Pavely scored her maiden half century in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy for Central Sparks in only her second appearance in the tournament.
The 18-year-old top-scored with 57 not out for the Sparks in a 21-run win over South East Stars at Guildford.
It was their third win in the competition and they are now level on points with the third placed Stars after six matches.
Pavely, who played for England Under-19s in last winter’s ICC T20 World Cup, had made her RHFT debut at New Road against the Thunder last weekend.
She came in against the Stars with the total 121-5 and saw Sparks through to a competitive 246-8 from their 50 overs.
Pavely put on 102 for the seventh wicket with Issy Wong who had a spell on loan with the Rapids earlier in her career.
The left hander’s 52 ball innings contained seven boundaries.
South East Stars were then bowled out for 225 in 47.3 overs with Katie George (3-30), Georgia Davis (3-52), Wong (2-37) and Erin Burns (2-40) doing the damage with the ball.
