Worcestershire Academy (Under-18s) will be taking part in a trio of T20 matches on Bank Holiday Sunday – including a double header against Nottinghamshire at Notts Sports Club.
Ben Clarke will captain a side of more senior players against Nottinghamshire with Ben Clarke skippering the side and Seth Essenhigh keeping wicket.
Essenhigh, Chris Ellison and Ben Clements were part of the Seconds squad for Friday’s ECB T20 against Somerset at Taunton Vale.
The opening friendly will get underway at 11am with the second game starting at 3pm.
On the same day, another Academy side will make the trip to Bromsgrove CC for a T20 getting underway at 5pm.
Tom Odell has been handed the captaincy with Joe Porter behind the stumps.
