Worcestershire County Cricket Club are delighted to announce the signing of West Indian all-rounder Hayden Walsh. Walsh joins the Club as a replacement for Pakistan spinner Usama Mir, who unfortunately was unable to obtain a Non Objection Certificate (NOC) for his planned stint with the Rapids.
The 32-year-old leg-spinning all-rounder brings a wealth of experience and talent to the Rapids. With an impressive track record in 23 ODIs and 39 T20 Internationals, Walsh comes highly recommended by fellow Windies international Jason Holder, who played for Worcestershire at the start of the 2024 season.
Walsh expressed his excitement about joining the Rapids: “I am thrilled to join Worcestershire and be part of such a prestigious Club.
“Both Jason (Holder) and Alzarri (Joseph) have said a lot of good things about the Club and the group of players, and I look forward to contributing to the team’s success and showcasing my skills in front of the supporters at Visit Worcestershire New Road.
“It’s an exciting opportunity, and I can’t wait to get started.”
