Worcestershire Rapids have secured their place in the Metro Bank One Day Cup Quarter-Final and will face Warwickshire at Edgbaston on Friday, 16 August.
Typically, finishing second in Group A would have allowed Worcestershire to host the quarter-final at our home ground, Visit Worcestershire New Road. However, due to a scheduling conflict with the England Lions’ match against Sri Lanka, which began this Wednesday at Visit Worcestershire New Road, the quarter-final has been relocated to Edgbaston.
Our Head Coach, Alan Richardson, has expressed his pride in the team’s performance and shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming match, “I’m incredibly proud of the team for reaching the quarter-finals, and we’re looking forward to the challenge of playing at Edgbaston on Friday.
“It’s a fantastic venue, and we’re eager to put in a strong performance against Warwickshire.”
We understand that this change may cause some inconvenience, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding and continued support.
